What are “Research Parameters”?

They are parameters whose clinical significance has not been established yet.
These parameters are for research use.

Three types of “Research Parameter”

The 1^st group including P-LCR and P-LCC is affected by interference substance.
The 2^nd group including RDWI and Mentzer Index is good for hemoglobinopathy screening.
The 3^rd group including Band#/Band%/Seg#/Seg% is used for detailed WBC morphology.
