Revolutionizing Relationships

Nihon Kohden’s Life Scope G7 is designed to provide hospitals with a new platform to support better medical care.

The advanced features of Life Scope G7 enable clinicians to customize the patient monitor for the needs of different care areas throughout the hospital. By reducing false alarms, workload and the time required for diagnosis, the Life Scope G7 supports better outcomes.

Life Scope G7 with advanced Human Machine Interface supports the collection of accurate patient data and integrated data for more sophisticated research.

With Life Scope G7, Nihon Kohden would like to be your partner to realize the future of medical care together.

Human Machine Interface

Make invisible patient information visible and support more accurate diagnosis.

  • See more, act fast:
Combination of EEG headband and innovative gel type EEG electrode enables you to prepare the patient for EEG monitoring within 15 minutes, a process which takes usually more than 30 minutes. DSA (Density Spectral Array) and aEEG (amplitude-integrated EEG) enables easier and faster detection of seizures and allows effective long term EEG monitoring.
  • Identify invisible ischemia:
synECi18 provides the additional information for right ventricular and posterior wall from standard 12-lead ECG without additional procedure.
  • Ensuring quality of care during sedation:
cap-ONE, the ultra-compact and highly durable sensor, will change your image of main stream CO2 sensors being easy to break. cap-ONE provides accurate and stable CO2 monitoring for both intubated and non-intubated patients.

Efficient operation throughout the hospital

Life Scope G7 contributes to efficient operation throughout your hospital. Increasing efficiency gives you more time for your patients.

  • Modular flexibility:
Life Scope G7 secures complete modular flexibility with MULTI connectors and the smart cable system at a significantly reduced cost and without the inconvenience associated with traditional modular systems.
  • Review data without hiding the current vital signs:
G-Scope allows all important trends and lists such as ST review, OCRG, aEEG, Vital List, etc. to be directly available on the main screen without hiding current waveforms.
  • Flexible installation:
The flexible configuration of the Life Scope G7 would meet the variety of hospital needs. Up to three independent screens can be configured.

Holistic Care Platform

The importance of data management is increasing more and more in recent years.

Life Scope G7 can be interfaced with various devices and the data, including data from external devices, can be sent to an integrated hospital system.

  • Integrated data:
Life Scope G7 can send the patient vital sign data including the data from external device to hospital information system directly or through a gateway using the HL7 protocol. This helps you review the trend of patient condition or perform statistical analysis of pathology.
  • Smart data transport:
Using a Life Scope PT as an input box enables superior transportability. To transport the patient, just slide out the Life Scope PT. The patient information, including trend and waveforms, will be transferred to the destination monitor and central monitor to create one seamless patient record.
  • Patient information anywhere anytime:
The ViTrac viewer software allows clinicians to access monitoring information on multiple patients anywhere anytime on their mobile devices.

Preventive Intervention

The integrated data will be analyzed and used to select optimal treatment for each patient and enable provision of early preventive measures.

  • Better outcomes:
Optimizing fluid administration during and post operation can lead to benefits such as shorter length or stay and lower complications. The hemodynamics graph provides a more intuitive approach to diagnostic and therapeutic decision making in hemodynamic management.
  • Redefining quality of care with non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring:
esCCO (estimated continuous cardiac output) is a new technology to determine the cardiac output using Pulse Wave Transit Time (PWTT) which is obtained from the familiar vital sign parameters, ECG and SpO2. esCCO is a very economical solution because it has no additional running costs or accessories.
  • Improving patient safety in hemodynamic management:
iNIBP is Nihon Kohden’s unique algorithm to measure NIBP during inflation. It provides fast and painless measurement of NIBP.
PWTT triggered NIBP measurement increases the chance of detecting a sudden change in blood pressure. When it is set to ON, the monitor watches the hemodynamic change using PWTT, and if it exceeds the reference value determined by the alarm limit of NIBP systolic pressure for 8 seconds, NIBP is measured automatically.
